Canadian collector checklist for PSA, BGS, and SGC submissions
Estimate raw value, graded value, and grading/shipping fees. Cards under $50 CAD usually need strong condition or rarity to justify grading.
Check centering, corners, edges, and surface. Use a loupe for scratches, dents, print lines, and corner whitening.
Use PSA for resale value, BGS for Chrome/sub-grades, and SGC for faster turnaround or budget-friendly submissions.
Use a penny sleeve and semi-rigid holder. Do not tape the card. Label cards according to the grading company submission form.
Sandwich holders between cardboard, use bubble wrap, and ship with tracking/insurance for higher-value cards.
When the slab returns, record the grade, cert number, declared value, fee, and sale comps for future tracking.
